Who we are: Studio 4573 Design (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides apparel decoration services to business clients across Greater Montreal. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your privacy choices.

We operate in Québec and follow applicable privacy laws, including Québec’s private-sector privacy law (as modernized by Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA, as well as email marketing rules under CASL.

1) Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact and business details (name, work email, phone, company, role)
  • Project information (quantities, deadlines, artwork/spec notes)
  • Files you upload or send us (logos, graphics)
  • Communications with us (email, form messages)

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage and performance data via Google Analytics 4 (e.g., pages visited, device type, general location). GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Not intended for children

  • Our services target businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2) How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • To prepare quotes, proofs, and order documentation
  • To deliver services, customer support, and account management
  • To maintain and improve our website and services (analytics, debugging)
  • To send service-related messages; and, with your consent (or where permitted), occasional updates about our services

3) Cookies & analytics  

We use essential cookies for site operation and Google Analytics 4 for aggregated usage statistics. GA4 provides privacy controls and does not store IP addresses. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, and you may opt out of Analytics via available tools.

4) Email marketing (CASL)

If we send commercial electronic messages (e.g., newsletters, promotions), we will:

  • Obtain consent (express or implied under CASL),
  • Identify ourselves in each message, and
  • Include a working unsubscribe link in every message.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

5) Sharing your information

We share personal information only as needed with trusted service providers who support our operations, for example:

  • Website/CRM hosting (Odoo S.A.)
  • Email and productivity (Google Workspace)
  • Analytics (Google Analytics)

These providers may process data outside Québec/Canada. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place when information is transferred across borders. (See also Odoo’s privacy commitments and policies. )

6) Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we strive to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

7) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy (for example, to respond to inquiries or manage a project), and as required by applicable laws (e.g., record-keeping). When no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

8) Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access and rectify the personal information we hold about you;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Request deletion of personal information in appropriate cases; and
  • Portability, where applicable under Québec law, for computerized personal information you provided. For guidance on rights and obligations under Law 25 and Québec privacy rules, see the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI).

9) Confidentiality incidents (breach notice)

If a confidentiality incident involving personal information presents a risk of serious injury, we will take steps to reduce risks and notify the CAI and affected individuals as required by law.

10) Do we use automated decision-making?

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide the required notices under Québec law.

11) Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. This policy does not cover those sites.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
